I'm interested in a used setup that has been taken care of. What sites do you recommend I keep my eye on? I see great TM/Vans but pricing is crazy high.

It seems those who purchased a setup put themselves in debt and could not pay or they made a wrong purchase and want something else. Any advice will help. TIA

Also, I'm used to slide in units which I find beneficial here in the FL area versus DD, etc.

I usually look for local ads on cl or market place. If you look every day, you will come across some good deals. I want something that I can drive to easily and test out the van and unit. Usually have to do some basic repairs and maintenance.

I'm working on my backup machine currently and getting it set up for this summer/fall. I have several things taken off right now and have had a good inspection on the quality of it. I'm impressed with how the components are laid out in this model, so if you find a well maintained ThermalWave, I'll be glad to share my experience.

I think I saw a good BlueWave also for sale somewhere, and i think both of those units would be a good backup machine for the cost. I don't know your budget, so if you're considering something like that Peak/Van setup, you probably just need to buy new

I believe those thermalwaves were very complicated and had too many break downs.

Thermal wave units were great. But it did have to many issues with the computer having to be removed an placed elsewhere to stay cool.

I'm busy cleaning out my shed. I am throwing a ton of spare parts that I'm finding that I had on hand for my Amtex. Funny I have no spare parts for my Sapphire.

I agree, and I'm addressing those issues now that will fix that problem, and I'm not planning on moving the computer either. I'll have a good explanation and pictures of it this weekend on my thread I started on it

Which one of those idiots above said too complicated? From the breakdown....it's no more complicated than my everest 650hp. I think it has the same computer also. And access to each component is rather easy as well, except the water pump needs rotated 90 degrees. Besides that...I'm enjoying working on it.
