PMF, DANG, Conway and Westpak would have made all their wands with a slip fit for glides?

Only Zipper and HydraMaster appear to be paying attention.

Here is an internal fit brush glide on a SSTi, Teflon conforms and goes in easy, Delrin, not so much, back to the drawing/cutting table....

Are you kidding me. No way. These dumbass carpet cleaners whine and complain about everything. They would end up crying about the loss of suction and slap on a bunch of caulking all over that thing. Then call you and complain even more because they damaged it.

Then they tie you up on the phone for an hour wanting to tell you all about their TM's trying to soften you up to get a buddy-deal.

Your Glide ignert is showing...

"slip fit" example, set screw holds it in place.

towards the end of Lisa's GG career, she started asking cleaners to provide measurements of wands rather than use the actual wand for fitment devlopment.

Its a bit shocking at how off a few popular Glides were. One in two hundred would complain, and we thought they were the crazy one, turns out they were right and the other 199 idiots would just heat up the glide, bash it on with a hammer and use goop to seal up the leaks.

I'm quite proud of our current, corrected line up now...

I've never had to remove a glide until it's ready for replacement.
I fail to see the need for a slip notice.
I'd be the cleaner that @Nomad74 mentioned and caulk that hole up.
