Evo's.

Papa John was a big help.

Probably our most perfect Glide.

Why is it no one likes straight slot across...
I'm not a fan of stopping to clean a wand opening orifice for no gd reason...
Straight slot,if clogged butter knife crap out keep moving...
We want the Teflon slide, the holes an slots make no difference.
One step forward two steps behind...
Where is data on slot, hole, straight air flow results...

That is our "slot" glide

Bridges are necessary for strength.

It's our best selling option by far and away.

Holes are good for super dense piles, Rugs mostly, especially when there is no one to stand on a corner.

Marty likes a hole because the Devastator slot glides suck.

and he's a gimp.

It's a nice glide.
I was skeptical of the water recovery due to its narrower slot- But the Evo wand with this glide seems to remover more water quicker than my Dev wand.
It's now my go-to wand when I don't need a swivel.
The wand did stutter sometimes on some carpet at first, but after doing a couple of homes it stopped.

I only use a hole glide on woven rugs when I need less suction.

Wide slots create lock down, which gives the impression of more suction and better recovery.

Simply not the case, as you now see.

Teflon does need a few jobs to get smoother...

I have the 2 Evos, which I'll be doing plenty of testing with this month.

I thought hole glides extract better and slot glides are for those who don't prevac. A summary of the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages comparison of each glide would be helpful here and on the
GG website.

How much harder for an old man is a slot glide to use? The single-piece PMF slot glide that came on my Mach 12 was difficult to move, but the slot is wider than the GG slot appears to be. I got the M12 because I was having shoulder trouble and it was the lightest wand available. I replaced the PMF glide with a GG hole glide.

A whole glide is only easier to push than a slot glide that does certainly not clean better and any side-by-side testing with all conditions and equipment being the same that becomes painfully obvious.

All PMF glides have far too wide and opening in my opinion

If you get one of our internal fit Mach 12 glides in the slot pattern I think you'll see that the better results are definitely worth the slight bit of extra effort it takes to push and pull the wand

One of the differences between the pmf glides and green glides is that the pmf glides are very flat and that is what causes the lock down. The green glides are rounded and present less surface area to the carpet which makes it easier to move. I have a 2 inch titanium wand made by pmf with their flat Teflon glide that is almost impossible to move with a 47 blower. I also have a steel westpak 2 inch wand with a green glide that is a joy to use with the same machine.

I'm headed out in an hour to do some office spaces and a staircase at our community center tonight, I can't wait to give this a little diddy a try..
