If only they sold these in 2001...

Splain it to me Lucy...just take a few steps back down wind. 😉

Seriously I think it has its place and yet it has some inherent short comings. As long as it's being sold as appearance management and not corrective cleaning, I have no guilt.
At the end of the day do you hose yourself off or use a wash cloth full of soap to get in deep?
Have you ever ran a towel over a traffic lane after HWE?
A buffer and bonnet can out clean a carpet easily.
What it can't do is flush piss.
But it can remove coffee and pop stains that wick back after flushing.

Looked as good as HWE, dried in under an hour, stayed looking clean longer, no dirty dish towel the next day and if you look at the pad water, I removed a shit load of soil, therefore I cleaned it.

and created less (or no) bacteria in the process.

So what you want me to believe is that you removed as much soil VLM as if you HWE?

So are you saying a couple of dirty pads you rubbed over the carpet will equal all the soil you removed to your TM's waste tank?

Hardly seems plausible, in fact I see you removed a lot of soil but I don't believe it to be anywhere close to the same soil removal.

You should test that at a Fest. Where is Tony when you need him?

Personally I use shower gel and rinse. Clean as a whistle!

I miss cleaning, but I don't miss my job.

I just got to where I hated doing my job, payroll, accounts payable, receivable, insurance, taxes, inventory, vehicle maintenance.

Cleaning was fun but it wasn't my job.

You're old and fat, you would love OP CLEANing lightly soiled resi carpet.
Damn my wife said the same thing. Well minus the OP appearance management commentary.

I'll tell you like I told her, foook off!

Uhhh ok, what I wanted to tell her. 😉

How's the OP you bought from me doing?
Just used it today to corrective clean a commercial carpet that had elevator oil tracked over it. 1 hour on the job, including vacuuming. Came out perfect. $250. Easy/peasy.

They’re the greatest things ever
I recall our conversation where you wanted to be a Devastator rep to supplement your retirement income.

Obviously it's driving you nuts how I've supplemented mine.

Sorry.

I married Mike. She says I'm too fat and too old.

She thinks I'd get bored with it after a while. Which maybe I would, but so what?
I bet $20 that you aren’t too F.A.F to be a rug sucker, and it won’t bore you.

If you break a hip and sell your tm, you win the bet

I'm not fat but I am old. I can still clean, she just doesn't want me dying behind a wand.

Man's gotta die somewhere, behind a wand is as good as any I suppose. 😉
