Ok so i'm wanting a new wand. I use a boxxer 318 TM. I've been using a basic 2 inch 2 jet wand for like the last 3 years. Its one i got from tony dang.

It works fine i'm just wanting something new. I don't want a swivel wand or a titanium wand or a wand with anymore then 3 jets. nothing fancy as i'm not looking to spend even $1000 I do want a 2 inch though and not a 1.5

I know i'll get blasted for this but Whats a wand anyway. Its just a tube with spray jets and a vacuum port for the most part.
some will say they get better dry times with one wand over another wand, isn't the machine your wands connected to important too, isn't your cleaning technique important, isn't doing dry strokes important

Does the wand you use make you a better cleaner or is it more your cleaning skills

I haven't used the board favs but I have tried several different wands.
I keep going back to my straight 3 jet 1 3/4 flared to 2 inch aluminum bane wand.

It's the easiest to use for me and I'm happy with results.

When it comes to wands, you dont know what you dont know.

But a great wand with killer technique is the #1 way to get people to call you back

With MFB of course.

problem solved, ebay here i come. Do you care to share the name of the guy you use
Most of these guys are highly lovable assholes, I’ll give you some real advice.

there is a massive difference between wands on the same exact machine. In fact, a great wind with a great glide can make a machine like yours perform very well, even compared to a guy running a much larger machine with a shitty wand.

For you and your machine I would recommend the evolution 13 inch, with a green glide and the shear jet kit from Wanders.

For several hundred more, you can get the Sapphire 12 inch, again with a green glide, and that’s about as good as it gets.

The first option will probably run you a little more than 1000 bucks with the add-ons, but there will be an absolute noticeable difference and dry times and cleaning. It’s really something you need to trust me and do.

If you are dead set on a 2” wand, get the Mach 12 2 inch. You want to ditch the stock glide though and install a green glide so you don’t end up committing suicide. That’s still going to run you close to $1000 after the glide upgrade, but professional tools that improve your product cost money. I bet my glided wants produce at least 50% better dry times than the shitty one that came with my machine, not to mention how much better they clean.

I do actually have an evolution wand thats brand new that was given to me when i bought my machine new last year. it's the 1.5 tube one with two jets. I've used it a few times and not sure if I like it or not, I was going to sell it off but decided to keep it on my van as a back up.

I do like it on certain carpets. Maybe I should use it a little more and give it a chance. Think i'd like it more if it was a 2 incher instead of 1.5

Good chance you don't need to buy a wand. If you don't pre-vac you will have to clean hair out of it.

One additional thing to consider is flow rate and heat. Your 318 hasn't the capacity to hold 190 if you flow much more than a gallon per minute. If you get a six jet wand, as an example, the smallest jets you'll easily get will still have you at 1.5 gpm, and a great deal of heat loss.

That wand has the potential of being a great wand. Nothing to do with Michael, but the green glide completely changes the performance of that wand. Then add the 4 jet shear kit from wanders.com. You will wonder how you ever cleaned carpet without it with those two upgrades.

run 2 inch hose all the way to a 1.5 inch reducer that you also get at wanderers.com.

The 4 jet kit will come at 6 flow if you order it that way and that’s all you need.

Absolutely correct, that wand holds heat really well at 6 flow and 4 jets. With the green glide on it, it builds lift quickly which helps a lot with the heat as well.

I don't think my machine will have a problem keeping up with the heat with 4 jets at 6 flow. My TM actually heats the water pretty fast. I start the machine with vac hose connected to wand, walk inside, connect a bleeder hose to the end of my solution hose, turn on the joe valve from wanderers and let the water run into a sink and in like 30 seconds i've got hot water. at that point i disconnect bleeder hose and connect to wand and away I go

It has everything to do with Michael.

If you would have gotten our Glide before I got involved you would have shit your pants at how bad the fit was.

I actually pushed a wand again today. But, my Shark actually pulled the first full load out, and my 10” crb pulled the second load out. By the time I rinsed with my piece of crap wand, it was non eventful. I’m a premium idiot!

I really need to stop being cheap and buy one. I keep nursing this Mytee along.

But I promised my man Damon I’d buy it from him.
I just got a new 175 rotary from Damon about a month ago, i currently have the tops odyssey on order from Damon as well, can't wait to get it. I already have the orbot Vibe which i actually got here when i won the Auction on it when it 1st came out.

Also have an the little oreck but i wanted something kind of in the middle of the vibe and oreck, the odyssey fits that spot for me
