I cant tell the difference at the wand between a HM 318 and HM 423, my 36 fuel burner "feels" it has more than both?

getting 575 installed in couple weeks as was underwhelmed by the 423, time will tell..
Like - importing or bought local? With the changes in our revenue mix I've been thinking of one bigger unit to replace both ours next year, but will miss gas heating.

most are 33's from what I have seen. I have an old one sitting outside my shop. 25 hp Kohler and a 33 blower. I am thinking off rebuilding it with a 45 blower that I have in the shop and putting it in an open small trailer as a back up or maybe a rental.
Keep in mind the blower and pump require horse power to turn them. If you use a motor that doesn't have enough horse power, you will turn the blower and pump slower, as well as running the motor at full capacity all the time which decreases the lifespan of the motor. A 25 hp should be fine, but you will have to find the formula and double check.

My understanding air cooled motors should be run near capacity for cooling reasons??

8 pump outs later and has he flooded the state of Georgia yet?
8 pump outs?!?! He needs this one!!! No diaphragm to wear out, has a 316 SST impeller that cuts debris to prevent clogging. We just recently launched it, however we started field testing them on a few end users machines February 2020. I personally installed one on a customers early February 2020. I randomly followed up with the customer and he constantly said it was working amazing.

What was your conclusion? I didn't know your team found out.

After what I told you that I was able to repeat the problem with a second APO I bought with a sparkling clean tank after I had it installed...I couldn't find the cause.

I remember being told that there was some debris in the impeller and that was the cause. I told him it wasn't possible if I had the same issue happen with a second pump in a clean tank with no debris.

It is one that I designed for my 2 truckmounts several years ago. It uses a pond waterfall 110-volt submersible pump that uses an electromagnetic pump that automatically pumps out the recovery tank so there is no need to ever replace the pump. Over time the impeller gets replaced at a cost of $25. The pump sits inside the recovery tank. I use a small 12VDC to AC inverter to supply 110V for the pump. The TM battery powers the inverter. It uses a Pondmaster 1800 gallons per hour pump.

I have a complete parts list of every part needed to assemble the entire setup. I designed it for my ETM but it works great in my truckmount with a #4 blower.

The truckmount tank fills up, and shuts down with the APO switch being turned on the whole job. I walked outside to see the APO pumping out 100gallons of water. That happened dozens of times. It would kick on during the job, but it wouldn't pump out the water when it was under full load. I found out that a pocket of air would get trapped in the impeller between the pump and the tank and wouldn't pump out the water under load. The person in charge of this test didn't believe my feedback results

1. I tested it by starting the unit with a dry tank under full load. Slowly filling the tank with water. It wouldn't pump it out. Then I released the load of vacuum, showing that it would allow the pump to pump out the water when the vacuum pressure was released.

2. I tested it with the tank halfway full before startup. Put the unit under full load, turned on the switch. It immediately pumped out the water with no problem.

This same test was with 2 separate APO's (2nd APO at my cost) and delivered the exact same results. And the 2nd APO was witnessed by not only me, but with a technician and the manager of the service department. All 3 of us came to the same conclusion. Jondon was kind enough to allow me to return the 2nd APO after 5 days of testing it.

I could've kept the 1st APO, but was kind enough to deliver it back at my cost because I was hoping to get an answer on this problem.

I did have 2 errors (my fault) prior to this test above that I thought had caused the problem.
1. The battery terminal wasn't fully torqued, causing the alternator fuse to blow several times.
2. At the beginning, I forgot to open the discharge valve which caused buildup of debris in the impeller that I cleaned up.
-This did not cause any damage to the APO after finding out the full test results.

My test results is the only one out of the dozens that have been sold of this unit, which makes me think it MIGHT be my specific machine, but with going over every connection to make certain there are no leaks and having a technician install the 2nd one and see the exact same conclusion...It's hard to believe I'm the only one out there seeing the same problem.
