Since I’m becoming a carpet cleaning rockstar in my town, I’m starting to get jobs with big ass rooms. Most of my customers have dogs that piss on the carpet, so VLM often isn’t an option.

Anybody use a zipper on open residential?

When you can walk 12-16ft with it in a room...then you have an advantage and save your hip and shoulder. Anything smaller needs a wand

What I don't like about the Zipper is that "Shark tool" Triangles are unavoid about with it on most carpets.
I'll have a 14 inch Zipper for Sale in June. I'll be using it on a Stadium of astro-tuff at the end of May.

I like my Zipper on commercial, but never liked it on residential much.
But not for the same reasons Mikey doesn’t like it. Erik and I get along fine.

Eric and I get along fine.

I've had two or three zippers and never liked any of them at any point in time

I've tried it, but mostly love my zipper on large commercial projects, I love a swivel wand in the home.

I carry usually a 14 inch devastor with a slot and holed glide, or a SS14.

Slot glide.

Ps my devastor jet bar fell off recently so I'm using my 12 inch until I fix it.

It nice having a dozen wands laying around unless your my wife.

I do love my zipper for commercial too, but if that’s needed, it’s Cimex time! I’m doing a house on the 9th, God help me😏

I do a casino that’s right around 26,000 sqft. We start @ 11 pm, and we HAVE to be finished by 6:55 AM sharp. The cash trolley comes out onto the floor @ 7 AM.
The building goes into lockdown at that time.

I put down my prespray with the Cimex, boosted with a healthy dose of peroxide.

There’s more food and drink stains than I care to mention…

I need a high volume flushing tool….

The zipper fits the bill…

I know some of you are going to giggle like school girls, but I still say the Hydrahoe is the cats ass on open areas. You can make good time with that long reach, and they are great quality. There's a reason they are now a Butler option, and PMF makes a 6 jet version.
