🤔 Each vac could be 12 hp and have more CFM our industry electric vacs--- SO might be a decent inexpensive ETM-- may be better than a Bane ETM?
Just hook them up to an industry waste tank and hide them behind a fake control panel.😱🤣

Where do you put the massive generator needed?

Not enough easily accessible power there.
I have a 30amp dryer outlet adaptor. I'd use the customer's hot water by connecting to the water heater drain bibb.
Unfortunately, CA laws will be forcing these changes sooner than the grid can handle.

It's projected that Hoover Dam will stop producing electricity for five states by January 2023 if we don't get epic rain and snow soon. :dejection:
I fear Encap might be the only legal form of carpet cleaning near future.

ok-- that covers one Ridgid vac. The biggest ones are 12hp each.

except they aren't

again you can't generate 12hp from a 120v outlet...not even close

most claim "5-6 hp" which is also BS.....over double what you would expect with 100% efficiency (continuous)

"**"Peak Horsepower" (PHP) is a term used in the wet-dry vacuum industry for consumer comparison purposes. It does not denote the operational horsepower of a wet-dry vacuum but rather the horsepower output of a motor, including the motor’s inertial contribution, achieved in laboratory testing. In actual use, Shop-Vac motors do not operate at the peak horsepower shown."

You can get 1.5 HP on a 120 volt 15 amp circuit max.

This homeowner would be impressed

Looks like a savvy homeowner. He overcame a challenge and found the tool to "solve" it.
But does he know that thing needs to emptied?
That device is a lint trap. It's used when installing ducting to the outside is either too involved or not allowed by the landlord.
Maybe they rent?

Good call, definitely savvy. That homeowner actually sold to who I was cleaning for. The lot is Bayfront, and they are knocking down that house. The $1400 carpet cleaning job was they just wanted to get by for one summer, to knock down after summer. Plus there are 4 empty lots approaching this house. Long story short, the owner that sold, who had that setup, is richer than I will ever be. The lot alone is over $1.5 million. Each lot approaching is well over $1 million each. And this is very conservative, the prices may be way higher now.
I was just having fun with the pic. Im actually amazed that you picked off the homeowner as savvy, and rich too. Keep in mind this is not a primary residence, only a getaway.
