It gets 1 mile per 1.4 kwt. so in CA that's about 70 cents a mile, which I think is about the same as diesel.My Ford E-transit gets about 2 miles per kw- or about 25 cents a mile. I'll be installing solar panels to charge my van- so my operational cost of the transit will go down.

I do not know. But there are a lot of extra fees and taxes on my utility bill.I wonder if the registration fee is higher. Insurance sure is higher.

You pay a road improvement fee at registration
but it isn't close to making up what will be lost in the next few years as electric vehicles gain adoption.......may end up with a mileage based tax or just some other general tax to repair roads
