Which Replacement Vac Motor

I'm having a hard time finding an exact replacement vac motor for this one. It is out of a Pegasus 500H by US Products. There aren't any matching model numbers available online. And I want to see if there are comparable or better aftermarket vac motors I can source as a replacement.

It is a 5.7" 3 stage vac motor. Not sure about the amperage though. I doubt it can be 10 amps despite the "104a" on the sticker, otherwise 2 of those combined with a water pump would be tripping circuits all the time..

you probably need to contact US Products for the proper replacement. The part number belongs to them, not to Ametek.

US Products has always been pricey and proprietary parts.. The circuit panel they have in their machines make me feel defeated..

I'm sure someone knows of a replacement/comparable equivalent motor.. Does your machine have 2 cords?

Based upon the MPN aka Manufacturer Part Number: 56113145 taken from the https://shop.usaclean.com/120V-3-stage-vacuum-motor-272-5677/?searchid=13127442&search_query=vacuum

Then searched based upon the google results lead me to that unit.. The cheaper listed price of the average $229 price..

Interesting that's good to know. Yes it does have 2 cords. 1600 to 1700 watt heater on 1 circuit and the 2 vac motors and pump smooshed onto the other circuit.

Excellent thank you! When I have time later I'll try to reverse engineer your search process to learn it myself. It looks like the right one. I just don't understand how there is enough amps left for the 500 psi pump if there are 2x 6.5 amp vac motors on the same circuit, I run it on 15 amp circuits all the time and it doesn't trip. This machine has noticeably weaker vacuum than my PEX 500 though.

You might want to think getting rid of the heater and replacing the vac motors with more powerful 3-stage vacuums. There are some that are 10.5-11 amps that in parallel will give you decent suction and airflow. You will run 1 vac motor and the pump on 1 circuit and the other vacuum on the second.

I'll consider that. But do you think that I may get better aesthetic results with weak vacuum and decent heat by supplementing with 7500 cfm (3 x 2500 cfm) of air movers on each job? It seems like heat makes a big difference on tough spots and traffic lanes... I have chemistry, dwell time, and scrubbing turned up as far as they can safely and reasonably go...

I've tried the inline heaters, still have an 1850 watt one that I never use. I feel having more pressure, flow and vacuum is more important. I use the hot water from the unit I am in, prespray with an inline sprayers, rinse with a neutral to alkaline rinse. Heavily soiled carpets get CRB'd. I am using a pumptec 217 500 psi pump on one of my machines. It's a DC, permanent magnet motor with a rectifier. It's like a little buzz saw. The machine is an older Mytee Speedster with 2-10.5 amp vacuums in parallel. Not as powerful as some of the newer machines with LX or ZX motors, but I usually achieve 75% or better water recovery with little extra effort. That's using 35 feet of 1.5 inch hose. If I need to reach a second floor, I put on a 50 ft 2 inch hose. I just feel with today's chemistry, you don't need the heat. Heat can make things easier but doesn't replace good pressure, flow and vacuum.
