Thanks for your Chosen wand order today,How come they’re not free?
You talkin about one of these? I have 1 apartment complex that i need one of these. But instead of buying one i charge them 35.00 extra each visit to bring waterNothing worse than someone who needs to hook up to a hose bib only to find out you can't use it.. For us guys who don't have freshwater tanks.. And limited hose.. You find a way, but may take 20mins or so..
The other thing I need is the commercial hose adaptor.. It's like a 1".. I kept dragging my feet on looking for one.. Schools and buildings normally have it..
Received your care package today, thanh you very much the valve looks very well built. Looking at pictures of it i had my doubts. Ive used valves that looked similar in the past the biggest difference is the handle .the ones ive had in the past had cheap ass stamped sheet metal and didn't hold up very long in the feild. This valve yoi sent has a seriously thich metal handle and they also spent the extra penny or so to include a lock washer which none of the others bother to do. Now as far as the hose end goes can you tell which one of the two is yours and which one is a gator grip? (The one on the far right is a parker ) ill give yours a try. But im going to install it on the machine end just incase. Neither yours or gator grips are as robustly built as the parker unfortunately parker only comes as zinc plated steel but it is thicker .371. Yours comes in @.361 and the gator grip came in @.353 . But at only .008 of an inch difference can be with in the manufacturer specs . I only pulled 1 gator grip outa the scrape heap and measured. Just to satisfy my curiosity ill measure the others tomorrow. The parker has it on grip notice how much more threds there are g just screwing um into the hose requires alot more effort. Will see. Ill also try the bend resitictor you sent. Im pretty happy with the ones i use however i think they stopped making um. Ill try yours and switch if i like um if not ill search the ones ive been using nos and buy 4 or 5 packs(8 to a pack) that'll last me my lifetime. Thank you again. Dwaino (p.s. gator grip left yours middle parker right)I'll send you one of each to play with I'll also send you some of my spiral wrap been protector which is way better than the vinyl sleeves as it allows the hose to cool down much quicker
Installed your valve today. Wanders valve made it about 6 months before it started leaking and making it a pita to disconnect wands. The ball in the Wanders valve is brass and shows pitting. Even though i run fresh water thru my hoses after each use ( not just at the end of the day, but each and every job).Old habit, old machine used starvation to deliver chemicals. So to prolong the life of the heat exchangers/ pumps and brass fittings i had to run approximately 5 gallons of water thru the system to flush out the soap and/or rinse. And now with last step injection even though it's not really necessary i still chuck the end and run fresh water thru the hoses while im packing up. So with that said sept 22, 2025 1355hrs on machine. Lets see how long she lasts. Thanks again for sending it to me to try out. I didn't think to check what the valve ball is made of on the valve you sent me. Till i looked in at the wanders i assumed they were all stainless, the cheapo one is. Not the wanders and thats probably why its leaking already. The rest of it held up. Handle didn't bend or break but if it doesn't seal and you keep getting burned trying to disconnect hot quick connects under pressure. In my book the valve is rendered useless
