I have my minimum for one room to 105.00
How many of you have a minimum charge just to leave?
What's the cost of gas chemicals and my time I think that's reasonable.

$125.00 for me to put a van in the driveway and stretch in a hose.... We operate out of Hamilton county and do mostly million dollar plus houses and usually get 0 kickback...

Minimum is $150 in my direct service area. $200 outside of that. I get a lot of 1 or 2 room jobs. Some people say "that's outrageous", others say, "that's reasonable". I only work for reasonable people.

Our minimum service charge is $180. In 1 year we went from $140, to $160, to $180. Figuring it out as I go. I worked for a customer that lives about 300 yards from us and told her I'd do the job for $160 since there is hardly any travel time, but she insisted on giving us $180. I think next year I am bumping it up to $190. It covers a little more of our expenses and doesn't hit the daunting $200 mark.

The furthest we travel for any job is about 45 minutes. On most days I have been able to line up other appointments close enough in proximity on the same day to make it make sense without having a higher minimum charge for those folks. Although sometimes it doesn't work out that way, maybe I should fix that.

News outlets always saying the sky is falling uncertainty......

People are in a wait and see pattern.

If we did do tariffs interest would've fallen faster, homes would start to sell and the economy would take off faster.

I think people are finally running out of funds. Utilities and insurance have doubled or more in the last 5 years from what I've seen.
I get more cancelations because they can't afford it than I can remember.
Not enough rich people to keep me busy. The house cleaning side is busy as ever but its the same customers every week or two on a schedule.
I had priced myself out of most of my apartments but I may need to revisit that. I have more time than money these days but I've got a lot more done at home and catching up on maintenance so there is that. My health keeps better too.

I forgot to mention cost of food.
