Every once and a while im called upon to move a bed. Generally it's not a big deal. Unless of course it has center feet that are too far underneath to place furniture movers. About 2 years ago while fabricating the rx20 drop in holder/cradle i named the rx20 toilet seat (you can look it up on this site) i solved the problem of what to use to move beds with center feet. Raise the outer 4 legs high enough for them to clear! What i did was take some ½" horse trailer mat left over from the rx20 toilet seat project and cut 6½" squares to set on top of harbor freight standard 7" square furniture movers. This works great, at least great if the bed had pads not wheels.after running into this problem again yesterday i went back to the shop with the quest to solve this problem with what i have on hand.what i came up with was to cut the bottom outa 4 peroxide bottles, install a short bolt n nut to the bottom then drill a hole in the center of the horse trailer mat slightly smaller than the nut for a tight fit . Now i have adapter cups to stop the wheels from rolling off the sliders. And i can use the sliders any way plain, lifted, lifted with cups and every thing still fits in one of my two plastic harbor Freight ammunition boxes of furniture movers i keep in the van

Did I miss the part about how you lift it? Lift buddy, muscle, is that what the RX 20 toilet seat is for? Do you move beds with motors, if so, I need you to come clean under mine😁

Generally brute force i how its moves. I have moved beds with motors. A couple that were regular beds but Generally speaking the motorized ones are hospital beds.the rx20 toilet seat is a piece that is used for docking and storage of my rotary in the van. Its a way for me to easily put in drive with and take out my rotary without removing the head.here are some pictures first ones are proof of concept i built. The rest are finished product a friend of mine is retired and builds furniture as a hobby. I brought my van, frankinstien, the rotary and my prototype and he built the one im using today.. the only change i made was to tahe a piece of old office chairmat cut it to size and stapled it to the bottom with T50 monel staples to seal the bottom

Ok, I've seen that, now back to the bed. You have those fancy bed with legs in the middle and motors. How you gonna lift a bed to get your fancy glide into one of the square cups😬

I'm thinking the only way to actually clean under one of those is to remove the mattress and slats and clean it that way.

It sounds like you have to disassemble to move that particular bed. The cups are for regular beds that have frame support legs in the middle that will bend or if wood, snap off if you move the bed.i lift the 4 corners high enough with the horse trailer mat and sliders so the center legs dont touch. But if the 4 corners are on wheels without the cups they tend to roll off the sliders
