We used to do the spot out from Jondon. some people still ask about it. I don't really want to pay hundreds of dollars to order something similar from another company all at once. I'm making my own bottles and labels. Found some old threads where someone mentioned they put a couple oz releas it ds2 in a spotter bottle to give away and people love it. Just looking for something that I can dilute that works well. I was going to give something with peroxide in it, but if I mix it up, the peroxide will be pretty much gone by the time theyre at the end of the bottle. Just something that would be comparatively as good as "matrix spot out" (which tbh didnt seem that good to me anyways).

Also, does anyone give gift certificates to customers that they can use for next cleaning or give to a friend? Was thinking about this year leaving everyone with a nice spotter bottle, and a 25 dollar gift certificate for their next cleaning, and then maybe another gift certificate where they can write their friends name in (for new customers). Just trying to get back to doing the little things that go a long way.

Thanks!

mix your own leaves you open for problems. just my thinking. ]

Not meaning to rub anyone the wrong way but why not do things right and charge for it? I just dont get carpet cleaners trying to save a buck and then complain because customers wont pay their price.

Offer a premium service and charge a premium price. I give away a 24 oz spray bottle of Stain X at each job. I GET more money in repeat customers and comments about the product than I will every pay. So in effect, it doesnt COST me anything.
