It a motel..Look at the drapes and bed skirt.
Blue must be a favorite of the owner.
The correct color was used in this case.
I take flip flops to motelsI had to stay in a motel a few weeks ago for a job.
Nastiest, greasy feeling carpet ever. I felt like pissing on my own feet to clean them.
Well true, but in this instance I opted to save a ton of driving in order to complete a job.I take flip flops to motels
You nasty
Horribly uneven. Carpet dye doesn't disperse perfectly but that job looks off. It looks like the dye was put down with a 175. When I was subbing for Langenwalter we did a hotel top to bottom every January and February. I wonder how they did the carper base on the wall.looks splotchy af in my eyes, but it could still be wet...?
We used to do whole room carpet dyeing. The problem is, wherever there were previous "issues" with the original carpet color, the dye does not cover like painting a wall over again. The end result was sometimes splotchy.looks splotchy af in my eyes, but it could still be wet...?
Used to have a good guy here. He would bleach and spot dye until he the carpet as uniform as possible, then dye the whole room. Some of his results were fantastic. We used to do whole room carpet dyeing. That's why we quit doing whole room dye jobs.
However, I'm sure whole room carpet dyeing has improved somewhat in the present.
Hey, that color is hot! It can make a rug a worthless rug sell for $3200! urban rugI've seen that same picture somewhere else and I can only say that the blue hurts my eyes...
Some were not so good, if it's the same guy that came down to Melbourne Australia five years ago.Used to have a good guy here. He would bleach and spot dye until he the carpet as uniform as possible, then dye the whole room. Some of his results were fantastic.
I don't think so. This guy went back to Germany. We weren't socialist enough for him. He wanted more Holliday's and higher pay. Real craftsman though. Some were not so good, if it's the same guy that came down to Melbourne Australia five years ago.
Here his completed full room job.
No names, no pack drill, but he works out of Maryland & does not frequent many forums anymore.
