I guess in the dye world this is impressive.

Is ugly ass blue the only dye that covers up stains or what?

Look at the drapes and bed skirt.
Blue must be a favorite of the owner.

The correct color was used in this case.

Maybe stains will be less noticeable, unless of course it is bleach. :winky:

In which case, there will be more call-outs for a dye specialist. $$$$

NOT, YOU KNOW WHO. šŸ˜± :stir:

looks splotchy af in my eyes, but it could still be wet...?
Horribly uneven. Carpet dye doesn't disperse perfectly but that job looks off. It looks like the dye was put down with a 175. When I was subbing for Langenwalter we did a hotel top to bottom every January and February. I wonder how they did the carper base on the wall.

Did he apply a dye shock as well.
I had a air brush kit for small work also.
Funny though the bleach stains.I been working on.Company bought new polos.
Bad idea when they are using bleach based cleaners for covid.
They would hire a guy with excess anti chlor .An a extensive discovered dye set.
They were all good seminars basically the same stuff.
Now an then a useful tip.
But mainly it was to meet Instructors an battery recharge time ...

We used to do whole room carpet dyeing. The problem is, wherever there were previous "issues" with the original carpet color, the dye does not cover like painting a wall over again. The end result was sometimes splotchy.

That's why we quit doing whole room dye jobs.

However, I'm sure whole room carpet dyeing has improved somewhat in the present.

Used to have a good guy here. He would bleach and spot dye until he the carpet as uniform as possible, then dye the whole room. Some of his results were fantastic.

Some were not so good, if it's the same guy that came down to Melbourne Australia five years ago.
Here his completed full room job.
No names, no pack drill, but he works out of Maryland & does not frequent many forums anymore.

I don't think so. This guy went back to Germany. We weren't socialist enough for him. He wanted more Holliday's and higher pay. Real craftsman though.
