Going Through The Motions.
I bark at my guys (and myself) when complacency sets in and we treat every cleaning project as what we see on average.
Vacuum, Spray, maybe Scrub and rinse and than life's distractions settle in and we stop noticing the small stuff that come back to bite us in the profit margin.
What are we overlooking and what's distracting us?..
Paying extra attention to where the pets sleep.
Not using the black light.
Vacuuming too fast.
Not rinsing problem areas enough.
Too much pressure.
Not enough pressure.
Not enough flow.
Clogged lint, blower and solution filters.
Not inspecting for clogged jets on every job.
Too much prespray.
Not enough prespray.
Wrong prespray.
Improperly mixed prespray.
Overly boosted prespray.
Wrong rinse.
No rinse.
Not asking the customer what her concerns are.
Water softener not working right.
NOT ENOUGH DRY STROKES.
RPMs and Lift not set correctly.
Not pre-qualifying.
Not leaving a note if no one's home, explaning set stains.
Being too lazy to go to the van for some Fels or Gel.
Worried about getting home or to a freinds house.
Checking social media every 5 minutes, or less.
Listening to music.
Talking on the phone.
Shooting "Hey Guys" videos....
or just lost in thought..
Focus or go back to bed and let someone with the passion take over..
Your customers and your company deserve your full attention.
