1” Jet extenders

Every single one cracked on my greenhorn. Do these tend to need replaced often or is it the heat from my steamway? I replaced them with brass fittings and can deal with a few drips if the jet extenders need replaced often.

mine always crack..it was a PITA.....so I would put one wrap of teflon tape on the threads..hand tighten and then take a wrench and do just a quarter turn...seemed to do the trick...

Yeah, they crack if you overtighten....easily.
