Good lordy but this 15" (15 year old) GLS is a pain to bring in compared to my new 10" Brush Pro..

But it sure pulls the poodle out of the poly

Dont forget to lube the shaft and bearings after cleaning..

You got a stubby.... Since you've used the long handle for soooo long, was it weird or felt funny using the shorter handle for stairs?

I've seen @George III use the Host crb for scrubbing commercial upholstery in commercial restaurant booths.... He did remove the handle for it... Maybe the stubby will work better?

It worked awesome actually....I didn't think we would use it....

If you put them away wet and dirty and only remove the brushes occasionally, yes.

The ballbearing on the end of the shaft will fail (someday) and the rod can get stuck in the bearing

Got to say I can see how a guy would fall in love with one of these, Ive been prespray woth cobbs 4 scoop in a 5 qt HF a 4 to 1 setting. I add a couple glugs of DS2 stuff smells great it lifts the pile and digs crap out, I like way better then my 110lbs 175.

We did a couple repeats and my helper and the customers said the carpets never looked so good.

It really is an awesome machine. Might need a second for my other truck.

Is it necessary to grease the shafts on our new 10"ers?

I've found this white teflon grease in a spray can at the hardware store that works great for this. Plus, putting the brushes and shaft back in is much easier if you lay the unit on its side and turn the brush back and forth a bit as you push the shaft in. (starting to blush.)

No, I dig the 10" just fine--just like Saiger because there's not much room in the truck. I could see getting the 15" for commercial, though. My next one will likely be the 10" for the other truck. Just waiting for my guys to understand the value of this little beast.

On the group buy we got the whole assortment of all 3 pairs of brushes, soft, medium and hard for $1650. Now $1650 just gets you the machine and medium brushes only. I think. Still a good deal. Get it.

Do you guys think the 10 packs enough punch to leave the 175 at home when doing residential or would the extra weight of the 15 be better

Do any of you group buyers wish you had gotten a larger size?

No. I think it's great in the already space challenged vans.

I would only get the 20 incher in the future.. If I need one. But for larger jobs, there is always the OP and Cimexes.
