When it comes to salt i use 3 different types and brands throughout the day.

Salt is very IMPORTANT !

Salt pills are amazing. They use to give them out freely in factories and other places of employment for employees to stay healthy. Foundries were still giving them out last I knew.
Salting food isnt enough.

I suck down non-flavored Electrolytes all day long.

Salt and chloride are electrolytes.
Sodium penetrates our cells pulling in water and minerals. Without salt are cells cant absorb anything.
All my life my vitamin d has been low. Now im in the normal range.
That goes for iron and all the other deficiencies people have.
Salt adds volume to your blood which can cause high blood pressure for people with other issues. But the standard has been lowered over the years too. Same with salt.
My blood pressure and pulse would swing up and down a lot but now its much more stable. I use to pass out a lot from low blood pressure. I would have odd seizures Dr's could never figure out.
Its been a trip and Im seriously thinking about writing about it. I could write several books easily about my experiences.
My last neurologist told me to watch Brain on Fire on Netflix because when he asked me how my head felt I said it feels like my brain is on fire.
What this girl went through I had been experiencing since I was a teenager.
Paralysis not feeling limbs situational mutism and a lot more.
The movie is her story she wrote after her Dr told her she should. Ive been told that by several Dr's too.
My neurologist tested me for maybe 100 autoimmune diseases and cancers but said I just have something in my family they dont know about.
My regular Dr thinks I have mcas mast cell activation syndrome also. He said I should carry an epi pen. But I would need to do a bone marrow test to get treatment. I get triggered by fragrances. There's buildings i cant enter. I can smell things others cant like sometimes I can sniff out mold but the fabulous smell almost kills me.
I can go on and on about this stuff.
I can walk into a home and know right away if they use plug ins or other air freshener. Even products on the carpet. Most of it all smells the same to me. I feel it attacking me.

I used to use it a lot but I wasn't getting the results I wanted with it on polyester

I started using VacAway and WOW

No WOW for me using Carpet Details on polyester

Maybe adding peroxide will help

Kenny, There's a lot of fine products out there.

Some if not most are just rebranded or basically same chemistry.

I'm sure the Encapstore carry great product!!

I know i'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.

I would like to hear about the type of work you turned down..

I've mentioned it before here but in my hustle days in Santa Cruz when I was first starting out I would often see Rob Rocha buzzing around in his white mini pickup that a simple fiberglass shell and I don't quite recall his name but all he had was a 175 and whatever bonnets were popular at the time.I think the can dry style polysor two to three inch thick bonnets we're getting replaced with thinner more effective and aggressive varieties.

We both pulled over at a beach overlook probably at lunch time one day and I think I was commiserating with him about the nasty pet job I just left and I asked him how he dealt with those situations and his reply was "I don't"

I don't think I even remotely understood it at the time as I was young and hungry and my water claw and I were out the conquer the world at that point.

While I am now emotionally and physically capable of running a low moisture only business, to be honest I still don't feel good about it with most residential services, especially ones with kids and pets and it would bother me not to be able to effectively clean corners and under furniture in the long edges and there's just something about watching that ooze come out of your waist tank hose at the end of the day with a certain level of disgustingness that no pad will ever be able to extract...


But that's not to say there are plenty of customers that never do disgusting things to their carpet and padding is more than enough to keep them happy and maybe more importantly keep my conscious even cleaner..

Ultimately I think a true professional multi-surface cleaner should have a truck mount and all the low moisture options.

Mikey, Did a repeat job yesterday. Cleaned it two years ago, they were going to replace it .

One room very dirty from dogs and 12 years of walking on it, first cleaning was VLM from me .

Took 3 pads and my 175 to get it to come clean.

When i looked at it yesterday, other than a few spills, it look very good ! [ the dogs passed on shortly after i clean last time]

Carpet stayed very clean!! And residue free!!

This time it only took 1 pad .



They are hoping to keep it a few more years!!!

Going back 10 years when I was experimenting with VLM Magic Wand had a powdered encap that they said could be used as a detergent

It sounded like a good idea but not long after I started using it my water flow switch died

So I replaced it and it died again

I then realized that crystallizer was clogging it up

I'm not sure that's what was happening, but never used a encap Detergent in my TM again

Whoever did probably doubled the recommended dilution to get it clean or used a cheap encap

Restaurants need to be PRESSURE WASHED using the HWE Method
