Carpet details is not a true encap as far as I know. Has no polymers. You should try Saiger's code red of encap. It's a liquid, easy to use, has a good amount of peroxide already, acidic in nature which makes it great for fine fabrics as well. One job today for long time customer with old nylon. I go to this house 2 times a year
I'm using Carpet Details with 5 oz of peroxide
You say no heat
A few years ago when it was my main cleaner I thought I got better results using Carpet Details with hot water
It's cold 25 degrees and I take my own soft water. So that water is cold when I get to customers house
I put a bucket heater in jug when I get there so water is at least warm 80-100 degrees when I start cleaning
Is that ok ???
I was going to use Releasit or VacAway but I thought I might put down too much solution which would make the carpet stiff
If you have a 175, tank is a must!!! and shower feedI was going to use Releasit or VacAway but I thought I might put down too much solution which would make the carpet stiff
Turns out I used less with the tank than I usually do spraying it with my WORX
Still never tried Saiger's
Carpet Details dries to a powder
