110 gal hydro well / Ford transit 250

Just curious if anyone here has installed this into a long wheel base. I'm so tired of the old connect the hose to the house thing, and feel I could save some time. There are so many times when their spigot is stripped, or a plastic pvc type jimmy rig. I'm in sunny so cal so no need to worry about freezing.

Before you add a big ass tank in your van, look for those who've taken their water tank out.

There's pros and cons to both setups. And if you're in Southern California, I'd keep using a water hose

Are you sure it saves money. An extra 900lbs. I know you've been in this game longer than me, so I'm sure you know the difference in more vs. less weight in our vans. Breaks, Transmission, engine, etc. Nausea from the water moving around

Yes. So you can add 3 or 4 passenger or you vehicle will break? Never ever had a transmission go on any of our trucks due to weight of the cargo. Old trucks with high miles are the only tranny's I've ever replaced.

Maybe but you'd be rolling and unrolling pretty fast. That doesn't account for the homes where you have to search for a spigot or when you have to add another 50 to reach it. Not to mention when they shut it off for winter.

The more jobs you do the more the time you lose a day. At some point you could have done one more job in the same amount of time.

That's an awesome setup you have. I wouldn't waste the space for a tank. If you have a full day of carpet cleaning, 3-5jobs, how long will that 100gallon tank last before you need to unroll the hose again to fill it up anyway?

I live in southern Oregon, in the winter you have to wrap your faucets. Having 110 gallons of water is a real time saver. I also do rental properties and they like to shut the water off in between renters. The tank is huge and takes a lot of space but I find it worth it.

Besides, on big days, I just put my 55 gal. poly tank in....180 gal...... good to go... just need somewhere to use the APO.......
