When you get a chance Jim, could you do a general measurement of the white paint strainer bag? Length of bag and general mouth opening. I thought I was using a 2 gallon as an additional liner in my Butler filter bags, but now second guessing myself.

Thanks!

The filter bags for 5gal paint buckets are about $3 for a 2-pack at Lowes. Under $1ea in qty.

As Fred C noted earlier, the large surface area allows longer use before restrictions.

Thanks Jim,

Here is a link to one of the manufacturing companies. I am going to order a bulk order for myself and family I think from here. I am going to go measure this morning which size I have, but I believe I am using the 2 gallon for liners in my Butler filters. Will confirm to let others know as well.

Thanks again!

I sure will Jim.

Im heading out to do a last minute call for a 3 story empty lake home. $800 job!

Currently -17 below as I type this and Iam going out alone to do it and the temps are still dropping fast .

I will get pics out in a few hours. I really do love the convenience of the Butler modified waste filter system

Here are pics of the rear waste filter clean out for Butlers. I have a Greenglide deflector inside it, but Bulters now very close to this with the extra holes.

I did find out that we are using the 2 gallon paint filter bags also. Went to Homedepot and bought a bag of 5 gallon units to compare. We really just get rid of the paint liners everyday rather than keep rinsing them off. Just too cheap in bulk to waste the time to clean them for us.

Really like the Butler clean out the way it is set up now. Ever thought of just getting one of those Dave for you new set up?

Thanks also Jim for your help too. All pics with the tape measure are measuring the 2 gallon bag.

Also, the butler lid of the rear waste clean out filter box is just a rubber replaceable gasket like camper foam for you pick up....maybe a but more durable.

PC290022_zpscc005283.jpg

the 570 is pretty much plumbed the same way...3 inch down to a 2.5 inch hose hook up....

only difference is that there is no filter box....I drop the devastator in line and that machine breaths way better then the Thermalwave.....

Yes mark I called butler and they are getting like 1500$ for that bad boy..I can have one built out of stainless for 1/2 that price identical to theirs..

I still have a butler and will simply have my guy duplicate it..

The way the sapphire is plumbed I won't need a elbow at the bottom..just a straight nipple so that will help, with flow even more
