I'm going to get a chance to demo the 13 inch zipper. While I'm excited I am also not keen on the price or the weight of it, but I will have to see. I have a feeling they're going to need to make a lighter weight one for residential cleaners like myself.

Will report back
You might try Joe at cool cuffs.. he has a 13" loaner to demo before you buy...just talked to him last week....253/653-7209

Eric,

I don't know how "great" my advice is but the Zipper wand is pretty amazing, its performance speaks for itself. It is a high quality precision made wand ideally suited for cleaning/restoring commercial carpets. I understand enough about manufacturing to know that you are constantly having to change, modify, add additional features to an existing product to attract new customers or different markets to keep the doors open.

I think your T handle is a feature that will save a lot of cleaners from themselves. But who am I to say what tool a cleaner can or should use. I hate to see you water down your design and compromising the effectiveness of the Zipper. If you are able to decrease weight, maintain cleaning performance AND give cleaners an option of wand handles for residential cleaners than that's a win-win-win and my issue of keeping the T handle to save cleaners shoulders is immaterial.

Continued success to you,
Bill

I totally agree and T handle is what makes this so unique in regards to being easier on the operator. That being said I wonder if Eric would chime in here and let us know if there in the works of building a residential model of the zipper with basically a lot less wait to make it more maneuverable and easy to operate in tight areas?

you don't want it much lighter (unless just in the handle)

the weight of the head keeps it nicely planted at all times.

when moving it around the room put the head up and wheel it....

honestly anyone that complains about the weight really needs to TRY IT

and if you have and it weights too much... get a desk job

Used the 13" on a residential yesterday and adjusted the wheels down more...it seemed to do better
Some of this discussion of a lighter head for homes is just theory until we get a lighter head and try it we will never know.....
But we do have eric thinking that direction...and either way this zipper is a major breakthrough in my book...
It definitely out cleans the ti wand as mine is collecting dust in my garage right now.....
