175 vs crb

Most crb machines have a choice of brushes. Those zebra brushes that are on there are medium ones I think.

If he had a carpet that wasn't as bad as that one he could go to the next softer brush and it would scrub good but not pull out as much stuff as the zebra brushes.

Bob Foster should chime in as he has a crb with zebra brushes from Clark. I think he is very happy with the results he gets.

You know...

Watching the site tube on my Hoss yesterday had me
thinking it must be digging out as much hair and loose fiber as my CRB

Do you have a site tubed RE Ron?

I have limited experience with a CRB, we have a Host machine for rugs here in the shop. So if you were to reclean that same carpet today would you continue to pull clumps of fiber out? or Is that a build up of junk over time?

Just usually neglected carpets are that bad. The brushes are way softer than a good shampoo brush.
