June 1st we cleaned a commercial building with glue down carpet using hot water extraction. They l;oved how it turned out the week after we did it, but now two months later they claim it looks worse than before we cleaned them. Any suggestions?

1. Go look at it.
2. Are you using residual detergents to clean with?
3. Is 2 months their normal soiling cycle? I assume not or they wouldn't be complaining.
4. Has anything unusual happened environmentally or in their traffic flow since the cleaning?

Hard to give info without you having been back to see for yourself.

They have forgotten how bad it was. Once you got it clean it became noticeable as to how it was supposed to look. Since it is still fresh in their minds they can see how fast it gets dirty but instead of realizing they need to clean more often they passing the buck on to you. Happens a lot.

Is it possible that you left residue behind that cause rapid re-soiling? Yeah possibly but commercial traffic lanes should be done monthly -interim maintenance-and everything twice a year. You did explain that to them before you cleaned right? If not this would be a great time to take in your encapsulation machine and explain interim maintenance and why it needs to be done and show them how encapsulation works.

It does sound like you left some residue behind if it looks worse. ???

However CGD, unless it's completely trashed out or it's a locker room or daycare I'd encap it. Encap will look better for longer on CGD carpet.

Even in businesses where we need to HWE, we will encap it later to improve the overall appearance. It also solves the returning spill problem that you experience with CGD carpet.

Get with Jeremy Sweetland Encapstore.com or VacAway Products or Excellent Supply or John Guerkink Carpet Care Systems these guys know Encap products and they can help you out.

Ken was right, very first thing to do is to check first the area. There are lots of things to consider why they said that and its difficult to conclude if you will base only with there comments Go check for yourself first.
