is the chemical jug suction hose pumping out water instead of drawing it up? The chemical injection hoses are pulsating.

Hole in diaphragm or bad check valvesis the chemical jug suction hose pumping out water instead of drawing it up? The chemical injection hoses are pulsating.
I'll check if The flow meter isn't the issue.Hole in diaphragm or bad check valves
I don't run chems through my chem meter/machine. So I would think the diaphragm would last longer. It sounds like you need a new diaphragm.
But what do I know?

The new diaphragm looks different and is smooth with less impressions on it. Jon Don said they sent the correct one for my machine. Are the impression there because it's old or happen once installed? The opposite:
The diaphragm is getting hit with pressure from the water pump to move the chemical through. When the other side is "dry", it is forced to flex further and is more rapidly damaged. Prime in straight water to put water onto the opposite side of the diaphragm, but keep the meter off.
Or remove the entire chemical pump and you won't have to deal with the issue at all.
You probably also have a bad chemical check valve, which would be why your having water come out the hose.
On the chemical pump if you have one not the actual pumpI'll check if The flow meter isn't the issue.
The water pump has 3300 hrs and I've only done oil changes. maybe a rebuild is in order?
Thanks for your help. problem solved.I think you'll find the problem to be solved...though you still might have a stuck check valve as well.
I did have an expansion tank but disconnected it when I thought it might be causing the problem. I posted a photo in another post. The tank is installed above the pump instead of on the floor and horizontally.-- does its orientation matter?Happy to help....it is what I do at my store nearly every day.
What are the specs on your pump. Do you have an expansion tank with your pump?
One of the few states I've never been to.You need to move to Alabama

I have fond memories of Montana and Colorado. Mikey has even made Nevada look desirable.
However, I can get the same feeling of red (purple) states in California.
