Hmm. How many hrs have you put on it with no fuel pump?

13 so far, not a hickup. But the kohler does have a mechanical fuel pump. just wasnt able to keep up in the old van with 1/4 hose on the tap.

The new tap is 5/16 and is running perfect.

Operating without an electric pump, will work on some engines.

The real test is hot weather in the summer causing vapor lock.

We usually bypass the engine pump, and install electric pump at the tank.

I put the electric pump in my box of spare parts, so I have it if i need it in the future.
