25 today...

That was the last count of calls and scheduled cleanings coming up the next couple of weeks...

AND....

We were already doing pretty well on bookings

I thought we were busy....

NOPE....

The past month was just the warm up....

Starting to get busy!

For the multi truckers...that number probably a slow day...

for us little guys in the Northern backwoods...that will keep 2 vans cruising for awhile....

And some of the jobs are HUUUUUGGE!

I just got in...going to go grab 4 hours of sleep...

Get up and do bookkeeping for the day....

Get payroll and QuickBooks ready for accountant tomorrow morning....

I haven't counted the job totals....but we have work....Wowza!

I was just thinking about that tonight also...

We have basically pulled most of our advertising....

People are finding us...and people are recommending us....

I have turned down advertising and seeing if can up our profits right now...and it hasn't slowed the phones down since beginning of May and last snow storm

I usually would pester my clients
A couple hours a day if a little slo.....
But one day since i had no jobs that day......i decided to go all out crazy on the phone....
My all time record was 38 jobs booked in one day....
I learned quick not to call before 10AM.....but i did call till 8 o clock...
After they got home

Call usually went lik this

MR BOB.....ivè been meaning to call ..
How soon can ya fit me in...
I was gooď at sellin jobs too..but never did cold calls tho.....

I am fully booked a full month out with zero advertising. Booked to the point to where if a good client calls who needs it done "this week" I have to go out in the evening to do it. Zero days off this month except for Sundays, and even a couple of those I am working.

I am super grateful, but it's starting to turn in to a problem.

I have a full time helper, a part time helper for evenings and Saturdays, and darn it if I still don't end up working by myself from time to time when something just has to be done.

Busiest time is 7-8 months of the year. I really need a second van but I know it would suck up profits and I don't want to be held hostage with a lead tech employee and worry about keeping the lights on in February and March.

Try raising your prices and work less...Seems to me your working too cheap...

A Summer truck with some college kids to operate it? Hit it hard while they are out of school. Then run "Saiger "dual trucks until the cold hits then mothball it until Spring. ???
