Mark, in your area...how many other carpet cleaners are actively working?

By the way, good job on staying alive in this business. I'd fail miserably in that weather

I am not sure if many try to venture out in this more extreme cold. But many will clean in cold weather just not below zero much. We are so used to it having grown up in the cold.

The older I am getting the more my dislike for it.

It's - 9 degrees below zero today and we have more work at a school we did last week.

They are so happy with our work that superintendent told maintenance to get us back to clean more now while school is closed. Got to love that!

We are making room today which we are not overbooked by any means but filled up the day.

Had someone wanting us to clean 2000 Sq feet of concrete yesterday... For $150 if we would... Lol... Uh... No thanks... And good luck...

They were trying to do it themselves with a home carpet cleaner. Opening up a new workout gym and need cleanup to be able to put down new rubber stick down matting... Guess they will try again.

Hope they enjoy the workout

Today about 250 foot hose run again.

Gonna rock it out!

Get that water running quick... at that temperature, my rule of thumb for the crews is to have the water flowing within 60 seconds of laying out. Especially if it's a long run outside.

Yep

Sophomore year ... living off campus Junior year with 6 of his friends

Think I'm buying him a car next year... these trips are scenic but boring after awhile

I still remember the days of steam cleaning carpet during Minnesota winters. So glad I sold out after 14 years there and moved to California to start over in 1984. My hat is off to you!

Do you ever think about selling out and starting over in a warmer climate we’re it rarely freezes? Especially as you get older?
