I don't know if any of you have the same problems as I do, but I would think so.

I work solo and we do mostly PM type work and I get my fair share of two story complexes, I am always trying to think of ways to save a step or make it a little easier on myself.
So I came up with this, and it is a pretty simple thing to make.

It stays in my van along the drivers side wall and when I need it it is easily grabbed and hung in place.

I still have cool cuffs on my legend, so I bought some MYTEE cuffs because they make MALE and FEMALE starter cuffs with MPT on them. Flash Cuffs IDK if they make a female with mpt threads so this may be a little harder to do with them, standard Vyn cuffs would be very simple as you would just need a 2" hose barbs with mpt. I made a short solution line that I velcro strapped to it,
at the top is a female with a ball valve that cuts the pressure, a male cuff. Bottom is a male qd and a female cuff.
I can pull in park below apartment place my balcony buddy, hook my tm up start up.... unroll my vac hose @ 35' and my 50' solution line, wand, and Hydro Force and go up the stairs.
This really saves a bit of time when stairs are AAAALLLLLLLL the way at the end of the unit and you are cleaning the one right in the middle.
I used it the other day on a customers house that had a circular stair case with oak handrails,
I hung this from the landing area...it worked awesome and it kept the staircase clear of any hoses.

It keeps the hose from always walking down the stairs, and it also keep the hose OFF the stairs, I swear it never fails as soon as I set up every body on the second floor needs to go somewhere, I don't take any chances if I see some one heading towards the hoses I always go out and make sure they have no problems.....it is a big pita to deal with, with this it just makes a short path straight into the apartment.

I have a couple places that the 2nd floor has a balcony out front, I just hang this up, hook up TM, take what vac hose I need @ 35 gets most units when you hook up like this, I am going to make a 35' solution line to match, so you are only taking what you need upstairs.
As LONG AS I REMEMBER to turn on pump and open ball valves it is usually one trip up, to start cleaning.

The chances this falls off vs someone tripping down stairs due to the hose is a much better statistic. the top is shaped like a hook I don't think it will come off or fall.
This is one of the reasons behind me doing it was to cover my arse.

If that's your worry then a simple lanyard/strap at the top to loop around the railing and hook on itself would be easy to make.

The cool thing about it is it saves when SOLO having to go up stairs first with MOST of your hose to get to the back of the job, lay out then drop down, go back down do your final hook ups, I HATE wasting time so I will load up all the vac , solution and fight my way up the stairs with all of it.
So say you pull in and the unit is 5 spaces over.... I hang this right at the front door of the unit run my vac and solu to the bottom of it, now all I have to carry is about 35' feet of each. TM is running so I can take HF,vac, solu, and wand up in one trip, hook up and go to work....it kinda makes 2nd floor work almost as easy as ground work.
Now the other day I had a custom home (should have snap a pic) with a curved oak staircase, I always take my bonnets and place them so they protect the oak hand rails all the way up as the sawing action can do some damage, then strap the hose to keep it secure, well I took this in and put a bonnet and then hung this over it....it worked awesome and the staircase was hose free.
The other cool thing is it takes all the hose walk out of it sothe hose is never needing to be pulled back up..I'm sure you all know what I am talking about,
The other thing about it is it keeps the hose run off the second floor walkway...many of times I have come out only to find the solution and vac hoses have worked there way under the guard rail and sitting on the hood of the nicest hoopty pos and the crack head is out there trying to find new rub marks in the primmer :madder::madder::madder:

Here is a picture today of how it works,
I grab the setup and place it first, then I just run my hoses over to it. Once it is in place all I needed was 5o feet of each and my HF and wand. I rolled them up and carried all of it up in one trip.
Once up top I hook to the solution line and open the ball valve ps the apartment out then hook up the vac hose and I am ready to clean.
Saves a lot of time as the door to the left is the staircase so it keeps you from making multiple trips back and forth to the van, and this is one of those where is is a long trip back and forth.
That was the painter he was working on the metal fence getting it ready for paint, he was happy because it was still out of his way enough that he was able to keep working

That would be pretty cool, is it on here somewhere? I would like to see how he got it that high. I thought about going higher but it gets a little unstable and bends pretty good if you get to long when you go to pick it up.
I have one place that I could use it at.

Ithink it was Stockwell for hotel setup.

Wonder if a coupler to extend to 3rd floor would come apart after the job.
Thanks for the idea. We have a pita property with only doors on the building ends with inside hall entry. Hate dropping balcony rope and 4 trips for 4 rooms.
