I was recently sidelined by double hernia surgery. Puttered in the shop as much as possible to keep my sanity.

My wife bought me a nice lift chair that I was sure I wouldn't use, but I'm grateful she got it.

I had an umbilical hernia fixed 5 years ago. Getting out of the recliner was tough. That lift chair will be nice. You don't realize how much you use those muscles until you have them cut. I also could only do a pull stroke with a wand for several months. I'm pretty sure pushing the wand forward is what caused the hernia in the first place.

When I replace the original Dev 14 glide I'll get a hole glide for it. Not for me, but for my middle aged helper.
