I hope the coatings on my new 570 hold up better than this one. Machine is 5 years old with 2000 hours. Works excellent. Looks like hell. I’m going to either have to do a lot of disassembly and painting or find someone who doesn’t care. My new van, new 570, SS upholstery tool,
two 2x12 Devs, 15” Zipper, 12” Turbo Hybrid, Westpak HS wand, carpet repair tools, carpet rake, carpet brush and and grout brush. I think

I would keep one of the Dev 12s
And replace it with a sapphire 12. Which not only extracts better but has toolless, stressless, behind your back glide swap outs and when you put a 2-in vacuum to it, the brush glide out performs that Westpac in every way.

I’m not buying another damn tool for my business unless something FN breaks. That being said I need to order new glides for the 12’s.
I’m sending my 14”brush glide to Swani with the wands he bought.

On another note. Your beloved SS12 will never be able to do this.

Go under toe kicks. I don’t have a problem with thewater coming out the side a little. It’s definitely not 8 inches. That’s an over exaggeration . You still have to dry stroke with the brush glide. Recovery is the absolute same after a dry dry stroke.
Wait till you brush ring wears in. You'll start seeing massive leakage.

Every hard surface tool needs dry strokes unless it's a squeegee wand held at a very exact angle the entire stroke , which is impossible and extremely aggravating

I would just tie my hair back, tuck in all my necklaces, shorten up my nose ring and just remove all the panels. Runs a little cooler.

I like that machine.

Just like your glides. They sell replacements.
BTW. I don’t have a problem with your brush glide. It’s just not for me.

It’s not about the Glide
