Can't log in with forum password. Tried to create new acct, and it said I was already in the system. Then tried to log in and requested new password. Got the password and tried to log in ... it told me my forum credentials couldn't be used.

This place wasn't so hard before Fred.

Its really not all that hard............

If you created an account on cleaning classifieds with the same info it will work.

If you do not have a cleaning classifieds account and try to log in with the forum credentials it will not. This is the reason for the message about forum credentials.

If I write a disclaimer with every possible scenario none of you will read it...........


In closing...........you have a cleaning classifieds account...........there isn't an actual issue..........except the one you are creating by...dare I say .....overthinking

The blurb about the forum credentials is there so that people will create a classifieds account instead of trying to log in with their MB account when they don't have a classifieds account


There is NOTHING that would know and warn you that you were trying to use your forum login

Good. You have no basis for an argument.

The classifieds software has no way of knowing that you are using your forum login and therefore can't warn you that you are doing it. The reason that message exist is to tell people that they need to create a classifieds account if they don't have one.
