Manual says to adjust the valves at 1000 hours. Anybody not doing that?

Takes me back to 1968 with my friend's 327 '57 Chevy 3/4 cam & solid lifters.

Too fast, and waaay too much trouble adjusting lifters at least monthly.

Valve lash. It won't wear or last as long if you don't do it but adjust it.
