PS In too many areas of the country I find carpet cleaners fighting over one market (low end, price oriented residential) like staving dogs snarling over a picked clean bone. Funeral homes are just one example of an "under served sector".

Pick the high end ones that look like money, they care the most about appearance.

We've cleaned carpet for several here in town, we've even done some general cleaning and post construction cleaning as well.

You'll need to be flexible with times and you'll want it to dry fast. Easy cleaning for the most part and large areas you'll want to be competitive with price.

You could always offer a free demo in the worst area to get you in the door.
