And of course I don't have my easy outs with me but luckily an old school flathead with a hex base got it out..

And a steel nipple going back in..

Hate when that happens. Did you move the vehicle while attached or just pull on the hose?

What happens to me is once the leak starts its already cracked. Then I try to tighten it and it breaks like Mikeys.

If it's not leaked for a year and starts to leak it needs replacing.

Looks like quite a bit of weight hanging off a 1/4" brass nipple.
Probably weakened from chemical usage and vibration.
