Not sure what tomorrow will bring being the day before easter (lots of pick ups for sure). We're hoping we'll hit 725 or so for the week. Next week will be the last week of our Anniversary sale so we'll have a little drop after that.

That's a lot of cabbage no matter how you look at it. You going to trade in the purple wagon for a purple 7 series?

We do offer pick up & delivery saturdays but surprisingly don't do many. We have one pu & del truck and one store to store truck that brings rugs from our drop off centers (showrooms). Only 9.16% of the rugs are picked up, but they account for almost 20% of revenue as they are usually much larger and more likely to be nicer rugs on average. They also will have a higher rate of repairs and other extra services. Each time we have added a drop off center or showroom it has slightly reduced our pu & del and at the same time increased our overall volume.

Ps 718 rugs at 5:20pm so not likely to hit 725 for the week.

Nice going Ken.

How many of those are repeat clients and or clients that have used your other services and now want their rugs cleaned as well?

Is this from your radio campaigns?

You can pm me about the campaigns if you prefer.

Thanks,

Bill

That's a lot of rugs, nice going. Do you track how many are brought in by your on location guy's and do they get a taste?
If only half get new pad you must have a full time cutter.

Bill~ 90 + percent are repeat customers overall for us depending on which rug care center/showroom they bring their rugs too. Our newest location opened last August is bringing in the most new clients. We do a ton of radio, plus network TV & quite a bit of newspaper and specialty pub advertising & web based.

David~ they all work well for us, but radio and tv are tops.

Ron~ we don’t have our on location cleaners bring in rugs, but we have 5 drop off locations and a pick up & delivery truck. About\ 9% buy a new pad- most already have one and they last a long time. Each of our centers cuts their own pad so it is not that big a deal. We sell 1000’s of pads through our retail business every year also and order a combined 80 rolls of Durahold about every 6 weeks, plus offer a few other products like Omni, Rug to Rug, etc.
