After a full jug of testing the regular SS1 my crew determined it every bit as good as our go to high pH product. (Flex w/ citrus)


But the smell was too much to handle

Lets see how this pans out.

All I've used is the sample he gave me. I LOVED IT! I've gotten in a bad habit of stocking up on the latest and greatest, and ended up with too much stuff in my shed. So as soon as I get low on my current stock, I'll get a couple cases.

But with you comparison of Flex w/citrus...Don't embarrass the Saiger Sauce. It's not much to brag about here on Georgia Clay. Firestorm is a better high ph to compare it to.

TCS sells another rebranded Harvard product they call Maxx Powder. Maxx cleans really well. I really can't tell much difference between Maxx Powder and Saiger Sauce, except that MP seems to have more peroxide in it. The problem with MP, from my perspective, is that the scent of MP is way too strong. It irritates my sinuses really bad. My first try of Saiger Sauce impressed me that it seemed to clean as well as MP, and SS didn't have quite as strong of a scent. However, as the second and then the third use came about, I realized SS was still to strong. It too made me sneeze and cough. I don't want my son to spend the next 39 years breathing in the shit I've been breathing in!

TCS is looking into reformulating MP to take the VOC's out, and Saiger tells me he's got Harvard working on a low odor product.

I hope one of them delivers.

This Tofu version Mikey has is the exact same formula except the Dyes and color taken out... Same cleaning power but no odor at all we have detected spraying. Only down side is some people might think you are only spraying water...

But I am seeing how soon we can get this in production and going to see if I can get you a sample Marty.

The key to the new Saiger's Sauce 1 powders are 4 never used in our industry expensive soil suspending agents. Also we have a unique water conditioning agents to help with better cleaning because there really is a lot of bad water conditions. Soils literally float and stay suspended in water....

I know I have heard everyone is looking to try to copy this, but in talking more with Harvard Chemical, they would really have to know where and who is making this for us (good luck) and then be willing to spend over double of other raw materials even close to these products.

So it is unique and I am telling people it IS like a Krispy Kreme donut (and the secret is locked up)

So you can have a glazed donut... Or a Krispy Kreme...

And we are just getting started with these new products... Really exciting testing taking place more....

I think chemical manufacturers put scent in because they think the customers want to smell something that makes think the carpets are getting clean. When I first started using Procyon (which has no odor) I worried that customers wouldn't get that same reaction so I started adding a mint odor (prochem mint deodorizer) to my prespray. Some people really love it but the majority of my customers don't really seem to care and some specifically don't want any odor at all. I have now been just using the Procyon as it is and people still tell me how fresh the carpet smells. Clean has it's own smell apparently.

very impressed so far

This place was loaded with all sort of spots, pet, kid and unknown.

I purposely did not use and Peroxide at all, pre or boost.


All but one blueish bleached area came out. Seven years old, never cleaned.


I could smell the Lemon Head residue in the HF jug left over from the cat lady carpet though.
