Cleaned my last Carpet for 6 to 8 weeks.
In 2001 I wrecked a 4 wheeler. Complete ACL tear.
Getting it fixed today. It comes out of joint so often now I can't put it off anymore.

Good luck and wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.

I've had so many surgeries in the last three years, that the joke in our household is that I get a surgery when I want a vocation :winky:

Wow...good luck and hoping for a speedy recovery. You will be so happy you took care of it!
I had a long overdue surgery last winter and I felt like a new person afterwards!

New ACL. Doctor found Meniscus was torn as well. Bone chip in joint was causing me the most pain.
I am very uncomfortable right now. Pain meds make me feel like crap. Sucks

My truck will be sitting for awhile, employee taking on all the work, unless he wins the lottery than I may never see if again.

I feel for you Adam. Couple years back at the exact same time I took off 2 months for a foot surgery. I took pain pills for 2 days and couldn't take them any more, they drive me insane. The pain sucks and so does sitting around. Getting up to use the bathroom feels like hell. Good luck, luckily it's the slow season.

Get well soon Adam!!

I can't believe you waited as long as you did, must have good muscle in your legs!

I tore both the mcl, acl, and a meniscus I was out for 7 weeks(at the time I worked for someone else, so lots of fishing).. Now it's my good knee!

I had the same ACL tear about 32 years ago.
Your knee maybe popping out because there is an imbalance in strength between your Quads and hamstrings-- which also contributed to the tear in the 1st place. Physical Therapy or proper weight training on your own may have prevented the need for this surgery..

but too late now-- So Good Luck.
BTW-- your Doctor might tell you the same info after he collects his fee for the surgery.:eekk:
Physical Therapy saved a Gal Pal from surgery after she was hit by a car.
