I’ve had one of those days butler and 870ss went down today !

I haven’t had a breakdown for about a year

How do I bypass the 870ss waste tank float?

Any ideas why it start and would run only long enough to get inside then shut down?

I have tried to adjust the float
Make sure water is in and flowing in the machine
Let machine cool off and tried again
And I swore and prayed a lot nothing is working lol

Are you certain you're not low on antifreeze and it's overheating?

The only reason I say that is because I think the float switch is a 10second shutdown timer. It seems that probably took you longer than 10seconds to get in the house

But antifreeze, if it's a little low will overheat if there's a pocket of air that needs bled out and it'll shut down.

Is there any codes you're getting on the light?

No lights or codes I’m hoping it’s something like that
Is there a sensor for that? We let it cool down for 10 min and ran it no luck

I know that the cheap hose clamps that are used on these machines needs to be retightened periodically and the antifreeze will seep out and evaporate before it drips. over a period of time you'll get that pocket of air.

And keep in mind that after your machine shuts down, the temp will actually rise for a short period of time, so 10minutes isn't long enough to bring the temp down if it's overheated.

Thanks that’s a good point
