90 thousand gallons!

This is a water loss we are currently processing. The photo shows where water ran off the back deck and froze. :eekk:

The water department contacted the homeowners because they said 90-thousand gallons went through the meter. Water line beneath the sink froze and broke and the home was unoccupied over those couple of days.

Pretty much a gut job although we are saving some of the hardwood that didn't get hit so hard. Some was warped and buckled so bad when we arrived, it was beyond saving. Lots of drywall removed also but the less affected is being dried too.

How are you drying this? Do you break off the ice or let it fall as its support melts?

That picture was taken yesterday, we had to break the ice down to get through the sliding door to carry out the debris. Its 52 degree today and the exterior is melting or has melted by now.

Interior, they got the heat back up and running yesterday and we are just conventionally drying with LGR refrigerants. (Drizair 2000's). Several Injectidry units and panels on the hardwood.
