Hey BECK....

As much as I hate to admit it....It is a great marketing idea !!!!!

Truth be known...The home owner is LESS likley to Damage there carpet with a
EN-CAP machine ....than a rug docter...

It also allows you as a professional...to explain to the CUSTY that this is only a
maintaince process.....& they should have you clean it as a PROFESSIONAL next time..

There is also the oppertunity to sale fabric protection at the time of pick-up......

After they FIGHT the machine .....& waste their day cleaning carpet....
They will be more likely not RENT the machine & purchase the CHEMICALS required to
clean their carpet ...And see the VALUE in spending more MONEY ...and Just have you clean it!

Brian Robinson,

I am sure you will be cruzzin this thread shortly.......

Brian...Now.... "THIS ".... is a idea that would FIT right-in ..with your marketing SKILLS..

It is something that you would be EXCELLENT in your NICHE market !!!!!
This would give you MULTIPLE oppertunities to stay in contact with your cleints..

It gives you another TOOL ..to close your cleints...."if you are out of their Price range."
You could ...Simply grab the machine out of your estimating Vehicle...do a quick-DEMO..
Sell them the Supplies....& pick-up later....."YOU ARE ALREADY THERE"

If the Market bears it...? "SPIN-OFF a low-end maintaince company with 1 full-time employee."

It is not going to be profitable to pick up and deliver for $49.

With the customer doing the cleaning they will figure out how it works and where the soil goes.

Don,

You heard of a company out your way called Shur-Kleen?

If so, are they hacks or good cleaners?

Take care,
Lisa
