A little Mold Remediation needed?

This photo is from an actual job we processed last month. Two sources of moisture, a break beneath the slab floor and a roof leak caused excessive moisture in the home. Testing showed the highest levels we have ever seen recorded.

When mold started to grow over them?

It was really bad. The occupant ended up in the hospital.

I had a similar one years ago. I didn't do it, I had the property mgr call someone else. Above ground gardens with sprinklers and a leaky membrane. Elderly couple living in the suite waited to long to complain. 2 walls looked just like your ceiling. I advised the couple to leave and told the property mgr that it was beyond my capabilities. Visible mold all over their furniture.

We had a roll off dropped and dumped the majority of contents in it. We salvaged only what was cost effective to do so and what was of sentimental value you to her. Lots and lots of books were throw out but they had some mold growth on them.

Are you doing a lot of contents restoration?

Mostly just hard surfaces.

I used to do some. Subbed out a lot to dry cleaners and did the hard surfaces myself. Had an electronics firm that I could sub out tv's and computers and such. Good money but a lot of work. We used to have a company here that would freeze dry books and paperwork.
