4.0 out of 5 stars Great story line, January 13, 2004

This review is from: The River Basin (Paperback)
The River Basin is an exciting story that draws you in to the action. As you read you can feel the fury of the hurricane and the fear of the people. The plot takes a lot of twists and turns and by the end of the book you will find your self rooting for the main character Gary.

The dialog in the book is written just like Eastern North Carolina residents speak. It may be a little hard to follow at first, but it is very true to the region.

For a first novel, this is a great effort by the author.

If these authors think most carpet cleaners read, they are in for a rude awakening. :)

He's hoping they don't think before they purchase.

He doesn't care what they do with the book once they buy it. He's heard our industry is good about buying and putting things on the shelf, never opening them. :p

I've cleaned carpet in New Bern! I can translate most of the lingo around here.
