Safelite, who Ive used a few times quoted $1500+ to replace....

I confirmemd with a phone call, wow, my Ram truck was high 500's just a few months ago

No embedded electronics in the Transit glass glass so no clue why they want so much

Found two local shops in town, one wants $480, the other just $400

If you own a Transit will you use the Safelite qoute to see what yor area wants?

Did you learn your lesson?

When I was a kid, most anything that happened to me in the way of injury or expensive accident got sort of that response from my father.

His was:

"What did you learn from this?"

Once, with blood soaking my clothes and shreds my flesh still in our guard dog's mouth I said:

"I learned not to expect sympathy from you"

What happened then was worse than the dog bite

How does an Oreck XL magically fall out of the "rafters"?

Sounds like one of those ID-ten-t errors.

Otherwise spelled ID10T..... :) .

Great Price Auto Glass……

Not
Great Quality Auto Glass
Great Customer Service Auto Glass

Instead the Stanley Steamer of glass shops.

I knew I should have named my company Donecheap Carpet Cleaning instead of Doneright.

🤣

I got $444 at safelite for basic service (no new wipers or rain treatment) on a 2017 high roof with no lane keeping/rain sensing wipers

Safelite here is decently priced and have done good work for me so far.

I did have an issue with my Ranger. When they took the glass out they called and said it couldn't be replaced and pushed me to let them take it to the bodyshop right next door. I told them I would drive it home and repair it and they told me "you can't drive it". I think it caught him off guard when I said "the fvck I can't". Grabbed my goggles and headed over. They had it all taped up with crash wrap which I ripped off and drove home.

Bent and welded some new sheet metal in, primed, and had the mobile safelite (same location) come and fix it in the yard

I have a special rider on my insurance policy specifically for flying Orecks. Pricey, but you never know.

I cant keep up with flavour month vacuums. I retired my sebo and bought a cordless Shark. In retrospect, I should have bought another sebo.
