I had a great Rotovac job today. Carpet was dirty and worn, but I made it look great. The homeowner was there, but the job had been given to us by one of our PMs that we deal with, they were getting it ready to rent out, and he said he'd never seen that kind of cleaner and was impressed at how well it did. They will now be using us for their home and referring us to everyone....score!

I did this job last week. The lady left after I started, but called back at end of day to say how thrilled she was.

Did the customer end up cleaning the bedroom carpet at the end of the hall? It looks like you stopped at the door.

I had one of those days where all 3 jobs I did today, was Rotovac 360 XL....(yeah I was running solo in 9 degrees Above zero today)

And everyone of them had something special to them....on took 10 tarps to tarp off 2 different cleaning zones....

another, I thought no way am I getting out that path that was so indented down to the bottom of the fibers in a hall (it came out perfect!!!)

And the 3rd....just was again....needed that buff and fluff from a Rotary....

AND EVERYONE OF THEM REQUIRED CARRYING EQUIPMENT THORUGH 3 FOOT DEEP SNOW TO THE HOUSE....UGH!!!! :hopeless: :madder:

Wow must be thick stuff. Not experienced that yet. Hope we don't.
RE's and Zipper as game changers. I don't believe there is anything else that can make such a radical change to your cleaning.

So....I have not tried my brush head on resi carpet yet, haven't had the need. I love it on grimy restaurant carpet though.
The house I am cleaning tomorrow has really worn carpet, I think I will try it and see what's what.

@Loren Egland I think you should try the brush head for your i..

I also think you should try running a whip hose there ol' man..

I could have bought a used brush head from Martin at the Mikefest when I bought the 360i. He said he didn't really use it.

If I where to use a whip hose I suppose I should also use 1/4 inch solution hose rather than 3/8, eh?

Mike.
I was thinking about the brush head for the 360i. Due to it only having 3 jets the agitation could compensate for the lower flow compared to the quad jet. Also the ss370 should be able to maintain more heat with the lower flow. My Powermatic will maintain heat fine with the 1/3 more flow of the quad. It might be we each chose the right head for our 360i's to best fit our systems.

If memory serves me, didn't you used to feel differently about the brush head when you ran a vortex?

Yes, I felt indifferent.

I never tried it.

Your theory has logic behind it but do me a favor and check your jets, are they 1 or 1.5?

1.5 jets

Yesterday in 9 Degrees

Same lie detector used in Vegas

About 175 degrees actually, just couldn't take photos and cleansame time

Hoses laying in snow and on ice and cold ground. Did ok for what I had and was happy with it. 500 psi is what I was running also.

We just never see carpet that evenly yet thoroughly soiled . would be a rewarding clean though to clearly see such a transformation.
The carpet was probably Poorly cleaned. A lot of residue left in/on the carpet hence the even recoiling and drastic difference.
