put on a stainless header from John's Custom heatexchangers and that thing would be complete!!!

Stainless manifolds aren't necessarily the cat's meow. Stainless is great for exhaust diverters because stainless expands and contracts less than mild steel. But I've been building manifolds out of black pipe now for about 8 years, with very consistent, good results. Except for one weld on the joint between the Wye and a 45 degree Ell, no welding is necessary. They just screw together. So they're very cost effective.
