I am considering a 360i that is nearly unused, but 4 years old.

My concern is that the motor on it may not be strong enough for the brush head attachment, because didn't Rotovac come out with a larger motor recently?

Can any of you experts advise me on this? I may need to decide about it this weekend.

Get it.

The 360i has more than enough torque to drive the brush head.

It's the XL, that requires the 3/4 hp to drive the brush head WITH METAL glides. I understand the XL does fine, if you stick with Teflon.

If it's anywhere close to a thousand bucks you should buy it, even 12-13 hundred.

It still works REALLY well, even without the brush head.

You're using a portable so it'll be fine...

My 360i on my TM burning the motor and gets to the point it actually stops the head... Mikey says my 360i is old.. My torque setting was actually more than rotovac recommended.. So I settled to go back to my 3port head and the brush head is sitting...
