My dog died yesterday. All I've done for last two days is cry.
I've never been close to our other animals but he was always happy to see me come home. We went on daily walks and he just hung around me whenever I was home.

Sounds like you've all been through this. Sorry I feel like such a baby. I haven't hurt like this since I lost my father. I'm just heart broken. : /

She had a heart attack and died in
My arms...I cried and was a mess for weeks....
Shes under our rose Bush and I think of her every time I walk bye!

They are waiting for us.
Always with us in body ,mind and spirit...
To me they are sent down to prove that life,loyalty,service, matter.They live less so we can reflect more...
And dog spelled backwards means by yer side forever.
Have two at exes house I can't see 12 yrs old.
I worry about em daily
An a four yr old here that drives me forward,,regardless of illness...

I'm sorry to hear about Bax, Richard. Dogs really are special. I said I didn't want a dog, fought it for a long time, and now we have two that are attached to my hip at home.
I've had numerous dogs over the year and can say each of them saved my life at one point or another. When life kicks you in the jewels and you're considering throwing in the towel. They just somehow know and come lay on your lap(lap dog or not) and give you that unconditional love you need at that moment, and suddenly things get better and you come out of that dark place. I wish they all lived longer than what they do but I'm convinced they don't live as long because of that immense unconditional love they give. They give more love in their short lives than most people do in a lifetime. For that reason they are special and I hope memories of Bax bring you a smile when you need it.
